could be they ordered way too many. last week i got PS2 controllers at walmart for $2.00 each.
Xbox live only cost $50 per year. Based on that website the PS3 would cost around $200/yr in power. Thats over $150 more per year than X360
I am sure many people do. That is why hybrid and other types of cars will become more popular.
I think the numbers are off. It only shows that sony sold 1,470,510 total PS3's. Sony has sold around 3.4 million so far and shipped 5.5 million.
With a $40 MILLION dollar budget they better deliver. I don't even think Halo 3 has even half that budget.
In order to make a profit they will have to sell at least 2 million copies of this game. It better be good!!!

It is a Toshiba. You ALSO get 5 FREE HD DVD's. Just want to let everyone know about this incredible offer.
From what I read in the past, Nintendo was only making about $7 per console at launch.
Good numbers, but I think the Elite is going to be $379.99 considering it was $479.99
I think HD-DVD is putting money into lowering the cost of the players instead of spending millions on advertising.
I think the same thing might have happened between Xbox and Dreamcast. I do notice the Dreamcast has windows CE. Maybe I'm wrong...goes back to eating cereal.
I looked in the paper and they were giving away a Free Controler AND Fuzion Frenzy 2 to anyone that buys a 360. I don't remember what store it was.
Less than $295.00 on amazon. Also has a rebate for 5 free HD-DVD. This is a much better deal than the 360 ad-on
I read it cost around $40 less to make the lower model.
Sony looses around $300 on the sale of a low end model and just $240 on the high end model.
It would be really cool to have a UHDTV-3D
I have been looking into getting an LCD for the last few months and the Sharp Aquos does seem like the better deal and had a better picture than all the other LCD's beside it. I have never seen it side by side with the Sony Brava so its hard to tell which one is better.

I don't think the HD-DVD drive will be in it. Microsoft is bumping up the hard drive and adding HDMI due to the success of digital downloads.
I think the current Premium Version will be bumped down to $299.
Bill Gates even said something to the tune of "Digital Downloads Is The Future". So I don't see HD-DVD being included.
Since they are making $75.00 per 360 sold right now, this change should put them around the point of breaking even on each sa...
Xbox 360 Shipped 1.5 Million Consoles By Christmas 2005. http://www.clubskill.com/?v...
Official numbers on PS3 have not been released. But sony estimated 2 million by end of 2006 which I doubt they shipped that many as they always over estimate there numbers.

It took me 4 months to find a 360 in the store after launch. Every Wal-Mart I have been too so far has PS3's in stock.
I thought the PS3 would be hard to find..guess not.
Microsoft already lost $4 Billion on the first Xbox. Do you think they are some type of charity?
